President Trump says he won’t come to President-elect Joe Biden’s inauguration on Jan. 20. The president tweeting: “To all of those who have asked, I will not be going.”
It’s not the first time a president has refused to attend his successor’s inauguration, but the last time was in 1869.
President Trump tweeted the American patriots who voted for him will have a “giant voice long into the future,” saying “our incredible journey is only beginning.”
