Prince Andrew held an allegedly unrestricted interview with BBC regarding his association with deceased financier Jeffrey Epstein.

The interview, which will air on Saturday, took place at Buckingham Palace, and is the first time the prince directly answered questions about the accusations.

Virginia Giuffre alleged that Epstein paid her to engage in sex with Prince Andrew when she was 17 years old.

Buckingham Palace denied the prince’s involvement in an August statement.

“The Duke of York has been appalled by the recent reports of Jeffrey Epstein’s alleged crimes,” said the statement. “His Royal Highness deplores the exploitation of any human being and the suggestion he would condone, participate in, or encourage any such behavior is abhorrent.”

The statement, obtained by MailOnline, came after a video emerged from late 2010 that apparently shows Prince Andrew inside Epstein’s Manhattan property.

An anonymous source told the Daily Mail, “The prince looked entirely at ease in Epstein’s house. When the prince came to the door I was stunned. He looked totally at ease. He said a few words to the girl, who was very pretty, and then she walked off down the street in the direction of Central Park.”

“If I hadn’t known it was Prince Andrew, I would have thought he owned the place. He looked so comfortable and relaxed as he stood there at the door,” the source said.

“He didn’t appear to have a concern in the world as he smiled and waved goodbye to the girl. It was only as the girl walked off that he glanced around the door frame, almost as if to check no one was watching.”

Two years before that video was taken, Epstein pleaded guilty to a state felony charge that involved paying a minor girl for sex. He was given a light sentence including generous work release conditions.

The case was surrounded in controversy due to the deal where he pleaded guilty in exchange for not being prosecuted by the Justice Department for similar charges, reported Sky News.

He only served 13 months in jail under the 2008 plea deal and was granted generous work release conditions, widely perceived to be too light of a punishment.

Epstein would have faced a 45-year sentence if convicted for multiple other counts of sexual offenses involving underage girls.

Epstein’s “Madame”

Following the billionaire financier Jeffrey Epstein’s alleged suicide just hours after the unsealing of more than one thousand documents related to the pedophilia sex-trafficking scandal that Epstein propagated, Ghislaine Maxwell surged as a prime target to be held accountable for the alleged crimes committed.

Maxwell, 57, is repeatedly mentioned in the documents, as she was a close friend of Epstein’s and according to him, his “best friend,” and ex-girlfriend, as well as assistant, reported CBS.

Maxwell has been accused of finding underage girls for Epstein and his circle. She has been described in court documents (pdf) as a “madame” for Epstein and “procurer of underage girls.”

“There are multiple victims who claim that Ghislaine Maxwell was a personal participant in recruiting them for Jeffrey Epstein, that she assisted in the scheduling of appointments, multiple victims being delivered to Epstein on a daily basis over an extended period of time,” attorney Jack Scarola, who has represented various of Epstein’s accusers, told CBS. “There are allegations that Miss Maxwell was an active participant in the sexual abuse.”

Virginia Guiffre alleged that Maxwell recruited her to become a masseuse when she was 16.

“We can train you. We can get you educated. You know, we can help you along the way if you pass the interview. If the guy likes you, then you know, it will work out for you. You’ll travel. You’ll make good money. You’ll be educated, and you’ll finally get accredited one day,” Maxwell told her, according to the court documents, reported News.

Maxwell denied any misconduct in her deposition, “A very small part of my job was, from time to time, to find adult professional massage therapists for Jeffrey. As far as I’m concerned, everyone who came to his house was an adult professional person.”

But Guiffre says she was forced to engage in sex with various individuals. She has identified, among others: Prince Andrew, son of Queen Elizabeth II, former New Mexico governor Bill Richardson (D), and former Senate majority leader George J. Mitchell (D-Maine).
