While Chopra looked stunning in a dark blue ‘lehenga’ (Indian traditional long skirt worn with a blouse of a top), Jonas complimented her in a blue-grey suit. The duo happily posed for photos before the shutterbugs at the reception, hosted for family and close friends.
The couple recently tied the knot in grand wedding ceremonies both with Christian and Hindu rituals in the royal Umaid Bhawan Palace in northwestern Jodhpur city.
Chopra, 36, and 26-year-old Jonas were engaged this year after meeting at an Oscars after-party last year. Miss Universe of 2000, Chopra, who headlined three seasons of the ABC crime drama “Quantico”, is one of Bollywood’s biggest female leads with acting credits in several big-ticket films.
Reportedly, the couple will also host another reception for Bollywood celebrities on Dec. 20 in Mumbai.
