Putin: West Is Trying to Break Up Russia

Russian President Vladimir Putin has accused the West of trying to destroy Russia, saying the goal of NATO countries is to cause suffering to the people of Russia. U.S. officials, meanwhile, are concerned about looming support from China to Russia, as well as a possible alliance between Russia and Iran. The Biden administration reaffirmed its support for Ukraine and said that more than 50 nations will be ready to assist Ukraine’s defense efforts.
