Queensland officials warn children to stay away from floodwaters

Officials in Queensland Australia have warned children to stay out of floodwaters, they said they don’t know what is in the severe floodwaters that have devastated the region. And more rain is on the way.

The Fitzroy River is also expected to rise. The severe flooding is the aftermath of Cyclone Debbie. The cyclone left a trail of destruction 600 miles long. The impact was declared a disaster, and recovery is expected to take months.
