A colobus baby monkey enchanted New Orleans zoo visitors.

The small creature bounced around its enclosure while under the close watch of its parents.

The baby is now all white. That will change as it matures and takes on the black and white look of its parents.

Colobus monkeys are native to central Africa and can be found in 15 countries. Due to their population level they are considered a threatened species. Their habitat is under threat from road and house construction.

Black-and-white colobus monkeys are closely related to red colobus monkeys.
