A jury has handed down verdicts on two members of the Oath Keepers militia group present at the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021. Those include seditious conspiracy and obstruction of an official proceeding. NTD spoke to Marc Ruskin, a retired FBI special agent with over 20 years of experience working in undercover operations, for analysis of the verdicts. Ruskin said that the conviction is significant and such a charge as a seditious conspiracy is not usually successful. Ruskin also pointed out that since the jury took several days to deliberate, and different defendants received different sentences, the jury did look at the evidence fairly carefully.
