Reindeer baby welcomed at Illinois zoo

A reindeer was just born in an Illinois zoo. The male fawn weighs 7 pounds. Nobody has given him a name yet.

It’s the first reindeer birth in 37 years for the Brookfield Zoo. “Bunny,” the mother of the new reindeer, gave birth on Wednesday. The pair can be seen feeding and doting on one another.

The mother and son duo can be spotted at the Hamill Family Wild Encounters section.
