The U-shaped buoy is a battery-powered device, which is operated by a remote control thumbstick. To help a struggling victim in the water you simply toss a U-safe in after them. The buoy will zoom off by itself towards the victim. It will not lose direction in the water or slow down because of difficult surf.
With such an ingenious device, there’s no risk for a rescuer with the struggling swimmer in the water.
