Rental prices for New York City apartments are at a record low.
People are now returning to the Big Apple, looking for a deal. Lease signings hit a record high last month.
A Housing expert told NTD news, the number of apartments rented is a 12-year record.
“The actual total amount, which was over 4000 units was the highest for the month of November since the financial crisis,” said Jonathan Miller, president of Miller Samuel Appraisers.
Miller said that even with the new rentals at record low prices, there’s still a 6 percent vacancy rate.
