The Senate voted in favor of blocking a department of labor rule, the rule allows retirement investment managers to consider ESG, it stands for Environmental, Social and Governance.
The bill will now head to President Biden’s desk for signing. White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre says that when the bill reaches the President’s desk, he will veto it.
