Rep. Michael Cloud (R-Texas) accused Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas on Wednesday of prioritizing the processing of illegal immigrants over actual border protection during a House Budget Committee hearing.
Mr. Cloud questioned Mr. Mayorkas over why President Joe Biden says Congress needs to do more to secure the border while the DHS enjoys a 20-percent-higher budget now than it had under the Trump administration.
