Student debt forgiveness is another way of saying taxpayer-funded tuition. This idea has been a hot topic of debate on Capitol Hill. This week, President Joe Biden took a major step in this direction by wiping out nearly $4 billion of debt for over 200,000 students defrauded by ITT Technical Institute.
