During a House floor debate on Friday, Reps. Chip Roy (R-Texas) and Chellie Pingree (D-Maine) argued over an amendment Mr. Roy introduced to prohibit funds from being used to implement any of the Biden administration’s executive orders on climate change.
“I’ll say that unapologetically. The American people are sick and tired of the federal government spending money we don’t have, to fund agencies that are directly at war with their way of life,” Mr. Roy said.
