Rep. Mike Waltz (R-Fla.) harshly criticized the Biden administration’s handling of the Afghanistan withdrawal at a House Foreign Affairs Committee hearing on Tuesday. He expressed his disappointment to retired U.S. Generals Mark Milley and Kenneth McKenzie over the lack of accountability for the withdrawal’s failure as the former military leaders testified at Tuesday’s hearing.
A former Green Beret, Mr. Waltz also questioned why Secretary of State Antony Blinken was on vacation as Kabul fell to the Taliban.
