The Taliban have reportedly postponed their plans to inaugurate their new Afghan government.

CNN-News18 sources said the militant group was going to hold the ceremony on Sept. 11, but changed it under pressure from their allies.

The news came Friday, shortly after Russia reportedly said it would not join the event if it was on 9/11—the 20th anniversary of the terrorist attacks in the United States.
