A baby otter, rescued from a ditch, has been nursed back to health. Utility workers found the month-old otter trapped in a ditch. It was hungry, dehydrated, and infested with fleas.

Workers at a wildlife center fed the otter with ground trout and kitten’s milk.

Now the otter is healthy enough to survive on its own.

The young otter has been delivered to Out of Africa Wildlife Park in Camp Verde, said Nathan Gonzalez, a spokesman for the Arizona Game and Fish Department.
