Over 100,000 drug overdose deaths occurred in the United States last year—equivalent to 12 people killed by the illegal substance every hour.

With Halloween coming up, the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) is sending out a warning: that there’s fentanyl-laced candy flooding the market. NTD spoke with former DEA special agent in charge Derek Maltz to find out more about this deadly phenomenon and what’s behind it.
