Russian President Vladimir Putin is accepting an invitation to visit China next month. It would become his first trip abroad since the international criminal court issued a warrant for his arrest.
The talks will focus on China’s Belt and Road Infrastructure project.
“This fully meets our interests. Our idea of creating a big Eurasian space fits into the One Belt One Road program,” Mr. Putin said.
Beijing said 90 countries have RSVP’d to the Belt and Road Initiative conference in October.
