The UK’s home secretary insists the government will press ahead with its plan to send asylum seekers to Rwanda, despite an 11th-hour legal ruling by a European court that halted the first departure. And following uproar from Tory MPs on the matter of British sovereignty, Downing Street did not rule out withdrawing from the European court, saying all options are on the table.
