Is there a minimum age requirement for babies to get a haircut? How much hair babies are born with varies greatly, with many requiring a haircut in just a few short months after birth. Many haircut salons however have a minimum age requirement of three months.
Waiting until the baby is strong enough to support its head should be a given.
If your baby needs a haircut earlier, then it may be a better idea to try to cut the hair at home, but when your baby is ready the first trip to the salon can be an event to remember.
