Cantaloupes sold in at least 10 states are being recalled due to potential salmonella contamination, following a similar recall by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency.

The FDA issued an alert, stating that Sofia Produce is recalling cantaloupes with ‘Malichita’ labels sold between Oct. 16–23 in states including Arizona, California, and Texas. The FDA warns of possible sales in markets beyond these states.
