San Francisco’s Historic Preservation Committee decided to keep their ferris wheel, the SkyStar Wheel, in Golden Gate Park for four more years.
Those in favor of the wheel staying say it brings quality of life to the city’s residents, more people to the city to promote local businesses, and money for the park.
Those against it staying say the generator makes too much noise. The committee proposed to replace it with a quieter one.
