Wedding bells are in the future for actress Scarlett Johansson and Colin Jost of “Saturday Night Live.”
Johansson’s publicist, Marcel Pariseau, tells The Associated Press Sunday that the private couple is officially engaged after two years of dating. Pariseau says no date has been set for the nuptials.
Johansson, 34, was previously married to actor Ryan Reynolds and journalist Romain Dauriac, with whom she has a daughter named Rose who was born in 2014.
This is the first marriage for the 36-year-old Jost, who is the co-anchor of SNL’s Weekend Update.
The couple recently walked the red carpet together at the premiere of “Avengers: Endgame,” in which Johansson plays the character of Black Widow.
Chris Hemsworth and Scarlett Johansson struggle to insult each other
Scarlett Johansson says Chris Hemsworth is ugly and he suggests she’s not so smart.
Those are a few of the burns the “Avengers: Endgame” stars throw at each other in a tongue-in-cheek BBC Radio 1 game called “Playground Insults,” where the point is to see which participant can make the other laugh.
“You’ve got a growing collection of grandma cardigans,” Johansson says to Hemsworth, who is wearing one in the video. “And I’ve been meaning to talk to you about it. Like, it’s crazy. It’s like basically, you’re a walking Ann Taylor ad. It’s crazy.”
Ouch! Luckily, Hemsworth finds it hilarious and bursts out laughing.
Hemsworth hit right back by joking, “You’re lucky you’re beautiful, because there’s nothing up here,” while pointing to his head.
The two volley back and forth several minutes before they realize it’s practically impossible to criticize perfection.
