Scientists Stunned to Find Dwarf Giraffes

Giraffes can usually grow to 15 to 20 feet tall. That’s why even scientists are surprised to discover dwarf giraffes. Scientists working at wildlife parks in Africa found two giraffes only 8 to 9 feet tall. That’s just half of the height of most normal giraffes. This may be because of a medical condition called Skeletal Dysplasia. It affects humans but rarely occurs in wild animals.
