The Supreme Court says it will hear a case surrounding a section of the constitution that criminalizes obstruction of an official proceeding. It is being used in many of the Jan. 6 cases in progress right now—including that of former president Donald Trump.
NTD was joined by constitutional law attorney and former Trump attorney Jared Roberts, who offered his insights on the move. He said the Court’s decision to examine the case should lead to its being shut down.
