Seek ‘Genuine Relationships’ to Overcome Hate

Hate crimes are on the rise globally. In London, the police reported an increase of over 1,300% in antisemitic offenses in October compared to last year. Additionally, Islamophobic offenses saw a 140% increase, notably following the Hamas attack on Israel.

NTD spoke with Dr. Raleigh Washington, a Co-author of the new book, “Breaking Down Walls: A Model of Reconciliation in an Age of Racial Strife.” Washington is also the President of “Awakening the Voice of Truth,” and the third recipient to receive the “Doctor of Peacemaking Award” by Westminster College— that’s after Mother Teresa and Desmond Tutu.
