The Senate Energy Committee holds a hearing to examine opportunities to counter the Chinese regime’s control of critical mineral supply chains through increased mining and processing in the United States, as well as international engagement and trade, at 10 a.m. ET on Sept. 28.

Witnesses include Tommy P. Beaudreau, deputy secretary of the U.S. Department of the Interior; Daniel Yergin, vice chairman at S&P Global; and Mark Compton, executive director of the American Exploration and Mining Association.
