Shanghai Business Owners Protest Virus Restrictions

A rare move in Shanghai Monday.

Hundreds of business owners in the financial hub took to the street—to protest local COVID-19 restrictions. Shanghai eased its strict lockdown two weeks ago. But many shops are still shuttered under current rules. Because of it, some business owners are demanding the same benefits as state-owned companies have received: six months of rent relief.
