Shen Yun completed its five-day run in Orange County, California. Tickets for all seven shows sold out.

Wen Chang, former mayor of Diamond Bar city, and his wife Mei Lien Chang, attended the show. They praised Shen Yun for bringing traditional Chinese culture to the world.

“I was quite impressed the entire hall was covered, I believe there’s probably 3500 people here, and I thought the majority of them would be Asian or Chinese, actually it’s not. The majority are all local people here, typical mainstream people, if they can appreciate that, this impact is very influential, in terms of Chinese culture, in terms of Chinese performance. I think this is great,” said Wen.

Stories very well told,” said Mei Lien, winner of the Global Federated Chinese Business Women Award. “We are very impressed.”

Both said the show was visually stunning.

“I was so [stunned] for the performance on the stage, not only just the sound, the effect, everything covered, the high technology, especially the performers, they are stunning,” said Wen.

“Excellent performance, the costumes, the color, the combination of art and technology, it’s extraordinary,” said Mei Lien.

Wen said Shen Yun can appeal to all audiences.

“I think this is a very good performance, and it is introduced to the western world. I should say all of the visitors here, the audience here, they all appreciate it and they all enjoyed it. I am so glad that Shen Yun can broadcast the Chinese culture in the world,” he said.

Shen Yun is currently performing in Hollywood, California.
