Shen Yun performed in El Paso, Texas for the first time. Both shows were sold out.

The classical Chinese dance and music company was warmly received by audiences.

“I was really impressed with the choreography, the music, I mean on and on, it was just fantastic overall. I was really, really—just enjoyed it. It was a thrill,” said Ernesto Hernandez, a retired social worker.

“The way the whole background, where they jump into the stage and they jump off the stage, that was amazing,” said Vicky Wright, a nutritionist.

“I would love to learn more about traditional Asian instruments. I thought it was really nice that those were also incorporated with everything,” said university student Nuege Maldonedo.

“There’s so much movement going on on stage so you definitely have to come more than once to be able to grasp everything from the performance but it’s definitely worth every penny that you spend on this and it’s worth a lifetime,” said retired veteran Matthew Hardesty, who brought his wife and daughter to the show.

“I’m really speechless because it was just awe and every single dance, everything that they did was so different. And it’s really amazing, just the technique, the detail of it, the hand movements. It was really, really nice. So I felt really positive,” said Miss Hardesty.

Shen Yun will be performing next in Salt Lake City, Utah, and Amarillo, Texas.
