“I found it beautiful in the beginning how the dance on stage transitions into the video. At certain moments, you are truly immersed in the story. That is very beautiful,” said Tjeerd Leistra, a business consultant.
“I found the story very good. And for example, with the soprano, when it is shown on screen what she is singing, I find that fantastic too,” said Martin de Jong, a business owner.
“The dance, the colors, and the interaction between the screen and the dancers, that was very astonishing every time. How beautifully that blended together,” said Eddie Even, an ecologist.
“Beautiful performance, and very professional. Everything is perfect. Very synchronized, beautiful costumes. It was great that everything was introduced in both Dutch and Chinese,” said Peter Kreijger, a key account manager.
“The most important thing is the message, the inner message they give. It’s not all about the exterior, it’s about the inner. What’s happening with the world? Shouldn’t we wake up and look inside, that everything can be done very differently,” said Irma Soetekouw, a tai chi instructor.
“You definitely can see the message for the world. It’s about being good to each other,” said Robert de Jong, an architect and an editor-in-chief. “I want to be that way too, what I see here tonight. The diversity, all the things that I mentioned. Creativity, I want to be innovative. I found it here, I want to be like that. I think it’s beautiful.”
“I know [the performance] is no longer in the Netherlands, but I would say wait until next year or look across the borders. I will definitely recommend it to people,” said Johan Vlaskamp, a photographer.
