Los Angeles County Sheriff Alex Villanueva shares his thoughts on the state of police reform, and recent turmoil.
He called the video of George Floyd’s arrest ‘revolting,’ but said it must be recognized as a rare event.
“People are trying to sell the idea that what happened to George Floyd is happening at every police department across the nation, and that’s absolutely not the truth. We have to keep it in perspective,” Villanueva said.
