In a coordinated series of strikes, U.S. and UK forces have hit Houthi positions in Yemen, including storage sites and missile facilities. So what effect will this have on the wider conflict in the Middle East?
To find out more, NTD spoke to Brandon Weichert, a geopolitical analyst and author of “The Shadow War: Iran’s Quest for Supremacy,” who said the strikes were “significant escalations on our part.”
Mr. Weichert said he believes the biggest issue holding back the United States military from neutralizing the Houthi’s terrorist capabilities is that “the Biden administration is still trying to play nice with the Iranians.”
