A sinkhole opened under a car parked on a downtown St. Louis street.
The car dropped into the hole hoodfirst and partially flipped.
The owners found the car underground when they returned from the gym.
A broken water pipe could be seen inside the hole. The water could have contributed to the sinkhole, or the sinkhole could have sheared the pipe.
No injuries have been reported.
