One of the greatest challenges known can be finding a parking spot in the city. Luckily, engineers are thinking of new ways to solve these problems. A common method is to create parking lots either on the roofs of public buildings or basements.
In Cannes, France, architects developed an underground parking lot in the west of Cannes’ famous old port. Another possibility is to build upwards, just as they did in the video below.
Material comes with a semi-truck, and a truck-mounted crane will help to lift, in just five days the new rotary parking lot is finished. This ingenious technique will park 16 cars.
Put some flower pots around it, park the cars, rotate the parking lot and the cramped parking area will eventually clear up in minutes.
Only drawback — What happens when the power cuts out?
