Cristiano Ronaldo, one of the world’s greatest soccer players, is facing a lawsuit for tax fraud. The lawsuit comes just after another Champions League victory.

Although he is from Portugal, he plays in Spain for Real Madrid. He took on a Spanish resident tax classification in 2010. The Spanish government accused him of taking millions in taxes by classifying himself as a foreigner from 2011 to 2014.

This structure allowed him to keep $16.48 million from authorities despite being one of the world’s highest paid soccer stars.
