Many of the videos are very emotional, like the moment when a military mom creatively surprised her kids at school after a nearly six-month deployment.
The soldier in the video below is another who wanted to surprise his mother and made sure to keep his return a secret.
As he approached his home, he saw his neighbour and asked her to help with the surprise. Willingly, the neighbour rang his doorbell and told his mother to come outside.
Witnessing his mom’s reaction at the 1:54 mark, the viewers could not help but smile. Her shock and happiness were both evident.
“How did you do that? I thought you weren’t coming home till August,” the mom said.
He replied with a laugh, “Yeah, something like that.”
What’s even cuter is when a younger relative comes outside and greets the soldier.
