The Solomon Islands says it plans to lift a ban on foreign navy ships entering its ports soon, though Australia and New Zealand have already been named as exemptions.

Last week, the Solomon Islands suspended port visits by foreign navy ships, after it didn’t answer a U.S. Coast Guard vessel’s request to refuel.

The move raised alarms about the island’s growing ties to Beijing. The island nation has been a point of contention between the United States, China, and Australia.
