SANTA ANA, Calif.—A man has been arrested on suspicion of killing his parents and their housekeeper in an upscale Southern California community, authorities said on Feb. 15.
Richard Nicholson, 64, Kim Nicholson, 61, and Maria Morse, 57, were identified as the victims found dead in a Newport Beach home on Wednesday, said Carrie Braun, a spokeswoman for the Orange County sheriff’s department.
The Nicholsons, who lived in the home, were the parents of 27-year-old suspect Camden Nicholson. Morse, of Anaheim, was their housekeeper, said Heather Rangel, a Newport Beach police spokeswoman.

The three were found dead when police checked on them at the home in response to a request by police officers in the nearby city of Irvine, who were in contact with Camden Nicholson at an area hospital, authorities said.
Nicholson was arrested for investigation of the killings. No charges had been filed against him early Friday. It was not immediately clear if he had an attorney.

Brothers Held For Alleged Killing Of Missing California Teen
RIVERSIDE, Calif.—Authorities have arrested two Southern California brothers on suspicion of killing a 16-year-old girl who vanished last month.
Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco said Tuesday that evidence dug out of the brothers’ Hesperia backyard led investigators to believe Aranda Briones was a victim of homicide.
She was last seen alive on Jan. 13 at a park in Moreno Valley, east of Los Angeles. Authorities are searching for her body.
The sheriff says Briones was a high school friend of 18-year-old Owen Shover, who was arrested Monday at his home. He could face a murder charge. His brother, 21-year-old Gary Shover, was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder.
It’s unclear whether they have attorneys.
