Chris and Alex Lyngaas are on a mission to find their mom, Eva, a “good man.” Eva had raised her sons and had gone through a second divorce. She had resolved herself to the idea living the rest of her life single in Norway. Her sons had another plan.

Alex and Chris thought of her mom as a real catch for some lucky guy and encouraged her to date via an online dating service. She did, and nothing became of any of her dates. So Alex, her youngest son, thought why not create a video and post it online showing all of their mom’s greatness? The video attached to this article is that video!

“Looking for Adam,” a creative twist playing on their mom’s name was created. This was all a secret between brothers, of course, until the video was finished. And to create the video, Alex scoured through video footage of his mom that had been collected over many years. He made sure “it” was all there, though, yoga, dancing, tennis, skiing, etc… All of Eva’s interests and personality were included through some creative editing.

When they showed mom the finished product, you can see her reaction with mixed emotions. You can also hear Alex giving his opinion, “My mother is single, and she deserves a good man.” After watching the video for the first time, Eva asks her son, “My gosh, Alex, what do you want to do with this?” Of course, his response was to put it on the Internet!

A reluctant Eva pondered the idea for days and finally said to her sons, “I realize I have nothing to lose. You can do as you like.” And that they did! The response was much more than they could have expected. One short week later, it had been viewed by 1.5 million people! They listed an email for inquiries and it was overflowing with responses.

Did Eva find her “good man” or not? As far as we know, she’s still looking!
