The Soul Kitchen Hostel welcomes guest from around the world who come to St. Petersburg. It is unique in the world of hostels for its unique concept.
“We made a decision that here (in our hostel) we will combine all the best things from hostels and hotels. We wanted to come up with something new and back then it was quite a new idea to combine two different formats. Now it’s become sort of a trend,” said Lyubov Sorokina, owner.
The St. Petersburg business blends with the city ambiance.

“Hotels offer that privacy that hostels usually lack. While at the same time many people miss the social atmosphere of hostels, but want some of the hotel privacy as well, and this is something they can find in our private rooms, while they can also have the social environment when they go out of their room. Hotels lack this social component, they lack socializing,” said Sorokina.
Soul Kitchen Hostel was three times named Best Small Hostel of the World.
