Spanish police arrested eight people on Tuesday, April 25.

The eight are suspects in the bombings of an airport and train station in Belgium in March 2016 that killed 31 people.

All eight were from Morocco.

The arrests followed an eight-month investigation into Islamic extremists involved with organized crime groups around Barcelona.

Spanish police have arrested 30 extremists in 17 raids so far this year, the Interior Ministry reports.
