A day after announcing his run to become the next House Speaker, Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) answered reporters’ questions on Thursday about the eight representatives who voted alongside House Democrats on the motion to vacate that resulted in the ouster of Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) as speaker on Tuesday. Rep. Jordan said he would continue to raise “two fundamental questions” about funding for Ukraine’s war effort, and said that he believed he was the candidate who could “bring the eight into part of the team.”
