Special Counsel Hur Testifies to House Judiciary Committee on Biden’s Handling of Classified Material

Live Chat

The House Judiciary Committee holds a hearing on Special Counsel Robert K. Hur’s report on his findings in his investigation of the possible unauthorized removal and retention of classified documents or other records discovered in President Biden’s personal possession at 10 a.m. ET on March 12.

Mr. Hur concluded that although President Biden “willfully retained and disclosed classified materials as a private citizen,” criminal charges were not warranted because, among other things, President Biden is an “elderly man with a poor memory.”
