President Trump will meet the head of the the Environmental Protection Agency Scott Pruitt on May 30, said White House press secretary Sean Spicer.
The president is deciding whether the United States will withdraw from the Paris Agreement of 2015.The agreement is an international pact aimed at slowing climate change.
“This is a subject that the president is spending a great deal of time on and one that he spoke to the G-7 members about during their meetings. Ultimately he wants a fair deal for the American people,” said Spicer.
Trump is expected to make an announcement on the agreement this week.
