Jeremy “Spike” Cohen, former 2020 Libertarian vice presidential candidate, talks about the current state of the Libertarian Party, which he says is the third-largest and fastest-growing party in the country. He explains further the role of large government and that the larger the government, the harder it will be to scale back.
He adds that we need to more look at the fact that “all politics is born of culture. It is people who have been conditioned to believe that the only way they can be saved, that the only way they can prosper, that the only way they can have stability and safety is to have this giant monolithic government, ordering them around and robbing them to pay for the whole thing. Obviously, that’s not the fact, that’s not true.”
