The attack on the St. Petersburg subway is now believed to be a suicide bombing. Authorities think the suspect came from Kyrgyzstan. They do not know if it is linked to ISIS or other extremist organizations, since no one has come forth to claim responsibility, but they are treating it as a terrorist attack.

Authorities have also released a photo of the suspect.
