Driven by its success, Starbucks announced on Dec. 13 it is going to expand their nitrogen-infused Cold Brew coffee to all U.S. stores by end of 2019—great news for Nitro cold brew lovers.
This expansion has been a part of Starbucks’ growth plan along with an expansion of Starbucks deliveries in the United States and China.
While some cold beverages like cold brew coffee, refreshing juices, and ice cappuccinos have become more popular, frappuccino sales have declined in popularity.
While millennials have been a big part of the coffee industry, with companies closely tailoring different coffee trends for them to follow, many millennials have become more health conscious in recent years.
Consumers are looking for more exotic coffees as well as for boutique experiences at coffee shops.
As part of the plan to try and reach more customers, Starbucks also announced that it will be bringing out more new products, opening roastery stores, as well as launching deliveries to nearly a quarter of U.S stores with Uber Eats next year.
