State Department Spokesman Matthew Miller told a reporter at a press briefing in Washington on Monday that the Biden administration considers Jewish settlements in the West Bank (specifically the regions of Judea and Samaria) to be illegal and a “threat to peace” in the Middle East. The reporter fired back by juxtaposing that view with the Biden administration’s policy of allowing illegal immigrants to cross the Southern border and settle in the United States.
